A KILLER, who caused a man to fall to his death from a bathroom window as he tried to escape a violent beating, is being hunted by police after failing to turn up to his sentencing for manslaughter at the Old Bailey this morning.
Officers arrested Valodia Tarasov , 31, of Abingdon Road, Streatham, this afternoon – but have not yet tracked down his brother Jurius Tarasov, 33, of Barrington Road, Brixton.
The duo, along with a third brother, Viktoras Tarasov, of Aurelia Road, Croydon, assaulted 37-year-old Pawel Pacholak after wrongly accusing him of stealing a phone.
The terrified victim died after he jumped out of a bathroom window in Streatham High Street and broke his neck on January 13 last year, the court heard.
Viktoras Tarasov attended court and has been remanded pending sentencing on a date to be confirmed. All three brothers had denied killing Pawel Pacholak but were found guilty of manslaughter yesterday.
Police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jurius Tarasov to call 999.
