Woman attacked at Vauxhall’s Club Colosseum: police calling for witnesses

Police are looking for witnesses and information after a woman was assaulted at Club Colosseum in Vauxhall over the weekend.

Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene around 3:50am on Sunday 2 March after they were alerted to an injured woman inside the nightclub.

Police believe the 24-year-old woman had been at the club’s ‘Back to 95’ event when she was assaulted by at least one man whilst she was on the dance floor in the House and Garage room, a statement from New Scotland Yard reported.

The woman, who is described as white in appearance, was wearing a black and white striped skirt and a long sleeved black and white polka dot top at the time of the assault. She suffered a broken arm and was taken to a South London hospital where she awaits surgery.

There are no suspect descriptions at this time and no arrests have been made.
