The race to find the fastest person in Brixton is on again.
Following last year’s success, when over 100 people competed, the organisers are staging the event for a second time with all proceeds going to the Southwark News and Weekender’s Evelina Children’s Hospital campaign, where we’re aiming to raise £100,000 by the end of the year.
This year the Brixton Bolt’s age range is dropping even lower and there’ll be a 20-metre race for under-threes as well as races ranging up to over 40s.
To register email firstname.lastname@example.org or turn up and sign up on the day at 12:30pm.
The races run (literally) from 1pm until 4pm on Sunday July 28 on Pope’s Road. Admission: £1. Being the fastest person in Brixton: priceless.
