Are you Streatham’s next big star?
The new Streatham Theatre Company is calling for actors and stagehands for a new production Then and Now: the glamour days of Streatham, which will play at this year’s Streatham Festival.
Then and Now has been written specially for the festival by director Bernie C. Byrnes with local writer Brenda Hargreaves, Kirsty Eyre and Frances Bruce. The show features scenes following Streatham’s glamorous heritage in show business from the heydays of Streatham Hill Theatre to today.
Starring local performers, and staged in what was previously Streatham’s “west end” theatre (now Beacon Bingo), this will be the first production by new local ‘open access’ Streatham Theatre Company.
If you’d like to get involved with the show either on stage or behind the scenes, the auditions are open to all.
