Dulwich art attack

Renowned street artists will literally take to the streets of Dulwich creating an outdoor gallery of public murals, based around Baroque era Old Master paintings from Dulwich Picture Gallery’s permanent collection. Local artists will also be flinging open their studio doors to the public as part of the Artists’ Open House from May 10-12.

An international group of artists have also taken over a house in Dulwich, 265 Lordship Lane, for six weeks before it is demolished, and will paint the whole outside of the house while also creating installation works throughout the interior. The house will then be opened to the public for one weekend over 18-19 May, from 11am – 6pm.

The Dulwich Festival 2013 runs from Friday May 10 until Sunday May 19. For the full programme visit: http://www.dulwichfestival.co.uk
