The Dutch Embassy is the latest confirmed to relocate to the new Nine Elms development Embassy Gardens.

Moving from its current Hyde Park Gate location, the Dutch Embassy will join the American Embassy, which is the centrepoint of the development project on the old Royal Mail site, between Vauxhall and East Battersea. Moving from its home of 80 years in Grosvenor Square, the American Embassy is due to be completed by 2017.

The Chinese Embassy is also rumoured to be moving to the site, as reported in Property Week, however when contacted by the Weekender a Chinese Embassy representative refused to confirm or deny the speculation.

Ballymore Group is working with architect, Sir Terry Farrell to develop 2,000 homes from studios up to three bedroom apartments which will become available in 2015. Alongside these will be a boutique hotel, restaurants, bars and retail space.
