Lambeth business women awarded

Seventeen Lambeth women have celebrated their business successes at ITV studios as part of the Brand Amplifier awards.

The businesswomen pitched entrepreneurial ideas to a judging panel, which included broadcaster Georgie Bingham, for a chance to have their ideas brought to the market.

Brought together through the mentoring support programme, Brand Amplifier, the women proved that “innovation, passion and original concepts are alive and well among the women of Lambeth,” said Jeannette Prichard, Brand Amplifier founder and Lambeth businesswoman. Now in its fourth year, the programme has helped over 60 Lambeth women to develop strong business brands.

Sarah Kohn, founder of Early Bird First Aid, received the Platinum award, recognised as having the Best Business Vision. Gold and silver awards went to Julie Hannay, founder of John & Pearl jewellery and Nicky Doodson, founder of Nicky Doodson Flowers Ltd.
