If you’re not on this year’s guest list for the Somerset House catwalk, never fear, you can still get a dose of Fashion Week at the Cinema Museum’s special screening of The Devil Wears Prada.
Fans of the film will need no convincing, but if you haven’t seen it you are in for a treat with yet another Anne Hathaway onscreen makeover, Meryl Streep at her very best as a fabulously chic, menacing fashion magazine editor, and the finest haute couture.
Sip on a pre-show Cocoa Chanel or Pour me a Dior cocktail and dress to impress. There’s a prize for best dressed so get your Gucci on, choose your best Choos, and bag yourself a Birkin for the occasion.
Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door, but like most things in life it’s a case of first in, best dressed and pre-booking is recommended.
Sunday February 24 at 3pm at the Cinema Museum, 2 Dugard Way (off Renfrew Road), SE11 4TH. Phone: 020 7840 2200. http://www.cinemamuseum.org.uk
